During the procedure, a very small amount of tooth enamel is removed from the natural tooth. Then an impression is taken of your teeth and the mold from which the customized porcelain veneers are fabricated. When you return for your next appointment, the porcelain veneers are placed over your natural teeth and bonded with dental cement.
